I got a kitten at home and she’s like the devil reincarnated. She is very destructive and very energetic so a lot of my things at home get damaged. She has dropped my monitor twice, the first time it caused no damage, this time i wasn’t as lucky, but it was my second monitor so i can easily replace that (60hz, not as pricey) but im scared she’ll do it again. i can’t really move the desk to a wall and my only idea rn is putting tape on the bases of the monitors so it somewhat prevents them from being knocked over but im not sure how that could work out either, so any advice and suggestions on what i can do would be greatly appreciated.

Anything heavy over the monitor legs. Alternatively something that you screw down to the table and over the legs but that will ruin the table then lol
Get a desk mount that screws into place, assuming it’s a VESA compatible monitor.

Otherwise, clamps?
There are plenty of vesa mounts for desks you could use.
You should also do some research what makes your cat behave like this. I am not an expert but a cat with described behaviour is usually a sign for that there are not enough possibilities to release energy. Maybe she needs more playtime with you or toys for that. Just my 2 cents.
Monitor arms.
More secure, fully adjustable, frees up desk space.
It’s beyond me why everyone doesn’t use them to be honest. They are very cheap and improve the set up immediately.
Time to get rid of the cat…
You look at the cat. There is no remorse in it’s eyes.
This is not it’s first kill. And it definitely won’t be it’s last…

Call the pawlice on charges of des-cat-tion of pawperty
Little fuckin demon hahaha
Cats are wreaking havoc in this community.
Step1 : Restrain cat!
Get rid of the destructive cat. Problem solved.
That cat face just screams “I’ll fucking do it again”
You can’t tell a cat no but you can give them a better option. My cat used to get behind my monitor and chew cables. I got a cat tree and put it by my desk so now she climbs that instead.
Okay so, cute kitty but these pictures give 0 context as to what kind of desk you have for people who don’t live with you to make a suggestion. I guess get desk mounted stand for your sides monitor…
Ahh the void. Mine attempts to get mine also their a special anti monitoring breed.
Get rid of the cat. Problem solved.
Catto 😄🫳🏻
Museum wax as a quick fix, it holds things in place pretty strongly.
Give the cat to your local Chinese restaurant. Problem fixed for future issues.
You could probably use G-clamps if you can find the right size. Should prevent being knocked over. Direct cat to screen attack could still cause damage
sink 2 neodymium magnets flush w the surface of the desk, then epoxy 2 magnets securely to the bottom of the monitor. ez
That picture of your little devil is perfect hahaha
Here’s what you do!
Throw everything in the garbage, pick up a book, and read it.
Preferably a phone book! Then you call a therapist and set up an appointment and work on not raging at children on fortnite! Wooo.
Just a joke
Aluminum foil is goated, it makes noise so cats hate it, just place it where you dont want the cat to go, assuming the cat flipped the monitor by going behind, just lay out a thin strip of foil behind your monitor
sorry i know this isn’t help but could you please drop the sanji wallpaper it’s dope
Cute. She looks like my lil boi, and he was the devil reincarnated when he was this tiny.

Screws through the base if you’re cheap
Why’s it always the black ones? Mine does the same shit, destructive little bastard.
But yea, fixed monitor arms is it. The two I got from primecables gives you the option to clamp on the end or drill in with a hole saw and bolts through that.
Lots of duck tape
The look on the cat’s face says “I’ll fucking do it again”
Sorry for your loss, but that mug shot of your cat at the end got me bro I literally laughed out loud.
Drill a few holes in the stand and screw it to the desk or clamp it but that can get in the way
just get any cheap monitor arm. U can easily tighten them with your table.
Use a barking dog as wallpaper
The face of the cat it hilarious I’m so sorry
Drill a hole through the base and through the desk and bolt it on.
What is that scary image on your monitor? Looks like an MRI of someone being tortured or maybe giving a BJ lol
