Which motherboard is better for memory overclocking? I’m planning a 5800x3d build and aware that CPU doesn’t scale with memory overclocking, however I want to do it for fun. B550 Tomahawk or X570S Carbon Max WiFi. Buildzoid mentioned, “the X570 chipset is actively harmful to overclocking capabilities”. Was this fixed on X570S?

Whichever is cheaper, both are 4 slot boards with the same daisy chain topology. If you want to max out a RAM overclock then get a board with 1 slot per channel.
