1. They remade Dark Alliance not even that long ago.
2. The original Baldur’s Gate games were much better.

Dark Alliance games for PS2 and Xbox were GOATs. I’d even say better than original PC BGs. I was a bigger Icewind Dale fan in that space

Me and my buddy played this, and champions of norath, every fucking day in junior high/high school. We’d go back to his place every lunch to play. skipped a lot of 4th periods…..
I remember beating it for the first time and unlocking the secret Drizzt character. I was like “Who the fuck is this OP dark elf???” Then i started to get into reading….

Dude, I’m old enough to remember both Dark Alliance games AND the OG Baldur’s Gate games.
OG Xbox and the Dreamcast are two of my absolute favorite consoles.

My brother and I played that on Ps2, and had such a blast. A core memory for me honestly, just enjoying a game so thoroughly

I could’ve gotten a couple S controllers for free by trading my fatties to a guy who came to a GameStop looking for one. Didn’t have the time to work out the trade but I learned that day people actually sought the big boys out
