Phas is going to be having updates all through out the year; from equipment changes, bug fixes, new tasks and optionals, new equipment, new player models and animations, player customizations, new ghost models, overhauls, new interactions, and much more that hasn't been said as of yet. There's no set dates, as the last time they had set dates for major updates like this, they received a lot of hate and backlash for not meeting the expected time. It's just all gonna be done sometime this year.

This game could've had longevity if the devs embraced the modding community instead of actively seeking to quash people's attempts to extend its shelf life. I haven't played it since they killed the more multiplayer mod, because it sucks to exclude a friend. Meanwhile, Lethal Company is having a heyday 💁♀
I used to love Phasmo, but darn do the devs not know what they're doing. They changed how items work, so casuals can't get "the good stuff" anymore without leveling up, and leveling takes so long if you aren't doing your weeklies. They made it into a grindfest instead of making it a game you can hop in and enjoy with your friends, and I'm just so tired of it.
Ever since the two new people joined the team, things went downhill. They even started introducing more bugs than the game had before, including the lighting bug that made them need to do an entire overhaul yet again, because they're so incompetent.
They're supposedly releasing the "1.0" version of the game for a full release soon, but because the game is so grindy now, I don't see it being very successful from here beyond retaining their loyal fanbase of kids with too much time on their hands telling you "Just grind, it's not that hard" as they do cheese strats instead of playing how the game is meant to be played. It's kinda sad, honestly. Phasmo was my go-to for friend hangout games, but now I can't recommend it to anyone.
