    If you can get the old hardware like game consoles to connect to that CRT that would be a good time.

    PS2, Original Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube era and earlier looked better on CRT. Helps smooth out any jagged polygons.

    Older 2d pixel consoles like SNES look completely different on CRT than on new screens. The pixels look more like little dots and it really smoothes out the image.

    For a CRT like this old DOS games from the early-late 90s are about as good as it’s going to get. The dot pitch of such a monitor is too small to replicate the effect correctly for TV based output devices. I still think that emulating old consoles looks better on a CRT like this than on a ultra sharp LCD but you won’t get an actually authentic look.

    OP please don’t play 360 (or Wii, debatabley) on CRT lol. Get an OG Xbox, Gamecube or PS2. Everything after that was designed for HDTVs.

    I had a CRT for the first half of the 360 then upgraded to HD around the time Gears 3 came out. Absolutely nothing on that console generation looked better in SD, I promise you. The font alone is going to be so tiny you’ll go blind lmfao

    I had a sony 24″  GDM-FW900flat screen CRT monitor that did like 1440p in 2008. That thing was slick for its time!
