They’re both evil, but ‘Saka seems worse to me. More underhanded stuff and sneaky bullshit like the way they try to off Corpo V, and of course there’s unconscionable stuff like burning netrunners using Soulkiller so they can make constructs. Militech is also evil, of course, but they seem to be more straightforward about it; they say they’re gonna kill someone and then they just do it. “The devil you know,” and all that.
But truth be told, they both need a nuke. Maybe several.

Y’all really didn’t listen to Johnny or pay attention to the bad ending of Phantom Liberty.
Arasaka and Militech are two sides of the same coin. Sure, they’re opposing forces, but their overall goal is the same: control the population.
Saburo wanted immortality so he could continue to install Arasaka corporation control over governments around the world.
Militech wants fascist control (see: Meredith Stout sex scene) over the people of NUSA, and it wants Night City to be part of NUSA again.
The Nomads teach us that a large swathe of the population would rather live in squalor, scraping to survive, than as slaves under corpo rule.
The Street kids teach us that life on Night City streets without corpo intervention can be hell.
And the Corpos teach us that ruthless, selfish actions and blind loyalty are the perfectly blended recipe for a life of betrayals and no one in your life you can trust.
All of this is to say, the closer you get to corps in the Cyberpunk world, the worse shit gets. Sure there are penthouses and fancy cars afforded to Corpos in the good graces of the behemoth that is the free market… But that exists without Arasaka and/or Militech.
Maybe not on the same scale, but then again, maybe scale isn’t the issue….?

If I had to pick one to work at, then Militech. I don’t have the drive to last very long at Arasaka.
If we’re talking tech, then Arasaka. All their stuff is sleek, minimalist design and black and red.
While yes Arasaka kinda owned Night City for a while, they still pretty much let everyone do their own thing. As soon as >!Militech comes into power in the new ending they police NC with an iron fist.!<

If this was earlier in the timeline, I’d have said Biotechnica, but even they’ve massively downward spiralled since then.
