Snapped some traces might work if it doesn’t you could try soldering some good cables and covering it in hot glue (probably a terrible idea just if it doesn’t work and you don’t have warranty it’s your last resort)

It’s the Scan listing on ebay. I’d say It’s dead and they know It Is hence why they never tried it, I’ve been checking over their “for parts or not working” listings for years, they do test GPU’s with the pcie retention clip broken off and list them as still working If they are working and “not tested” If they are not.
So they’ve either a) tested this and know It’s not working or b) know It’s not going to work so haven’t tested it. As I say they’ve been testing cards with this exact damage for years.
Steer well clear.

Think of it this way, how much is 4080 worth if working, over the current ‘sold as seen’ price? You telling me you are a computer literate seller who will have/can get access to a cheapo motherboard somehwere to test it in but is just too busy to put all that extra money in your pocket? Clearly indicates they know its not working just dont want to say.

Easy answer: google for repairs of cracked GPUs. Most of them are a no-fix. Some are repairable, but you never know until you lay your hands on them. A great risk in all cases.

It’s repairable, a lot of people won’t do it tho. It needs to go to someone that knows how to grind and retrace traces.
