cl_bob & cl_righthand are hard commands for valve to add because now the screen model is aligned with the world model and thus cast the same shadows, that's why you can see your own shadow. Changing the way your screen model looks necessarily means that it has to change for everyone else in the server as well, and that means that valve has to animate everything twice (in the case of cl_rightand).
