Agreed! This game definitely makes me feel like I’m in an alternate reality! Downright beautiful graphics.

Wrong. Even Non-RTX or RT CP is already stunning.

runs like shit though in that mode, had to turn off path tracing for regular gameplay, oh well, good for photo mode though.

Plug it into 4K TV play at 4K resolution with DLSS 3.5. superior experience to monitor.

I still can’t believe how Starfield could be released and think it’s going to be altright… Specialy after Cyberpunk 2077, Bethesda really has no shame.

  6. How does that look stunning? You can’t even make out any detail on any of the characters. Lots of aliasing everywhere too.

Path tracing can look good in some scenarios but at this point it’s really a tech demo. The 4090 can get a playable experience but only with artificial frames and upscailing. You lose detail too at the expensive of better lighting, faces are ruined and any skin textures look odd. In the end the rasterised game for the most part looks better in terms of clarity, detail, lack of shine while Path tracing in a playable state with DLSS Frame Gen has better lighting but loses everywhere else pretty badly.

I like the idea of frame gen but this isn’t the best way to experience it in my opinion, I think it can do wonders for old hardware but Nvidia are using it to make path tracing playable instead of giving better raster performance.

Jfc instant gratification from today’s graphics has everyone fucked up. Looks pretty good to me. Average, for games now, but games now look fucking incredible and ray/path is just a cherry on top.
