Most 4070 ti super cards just have reused 4080 coolers. Seems like the tuf gaming 4070 ti super is no exception. That cooler was already overkill for the 4080, let alone the 4070 ti super.
Edit: not overkill, but more than enough

How is the coil whine on that beast? I’ve seen feedback where tuf cards tend to have whine in them.
Amilo159
That will how a 6050ti will look like in a few years.
And cost probably 699 as well.

As an additional note, despite doubling my frames and VRAM, this is a bittersweet day: I have never had anything but EVGA since forever.

I thought the Super was a smaller model. Less power and all.

I think I just heard my computer’s motherboard crack in half just looking at the photo.
Yeah. Here we are again. Great that the manufacturers are doing a “LOOK AT ME” but not great that they can’t differentiate in other ways. Means Nvidia is restricting what they can do with the actual product.

I honestly like overbuild coolers. Cases have more than enough space for them, you should use an anti sag bracket anyway and this way the card runs much cooler
I got the msi ventus white X2 and it’s about what I expected In size, and also the only white 2 fan option

Question: does this thing comes with something to Support the gpu?
TIK_GT
Nice! I ordered the same exact model. Should arrive next week.

Why do they have to slap these thick coolers on all the high end cards man… I run a SFF case and while it technically can fit like 3.5 slot GPUs it would be an incredibly tight fit
Slicedz
It was too big to be called a graphics card. Massive, thick, heavy, and far too rough. Indeed, it was a heap of raw iron.

What is the Power limit?
That looks like one oversized cooler, you need some kind of support or the PC will fall over.

Are you gonna do that cute thing where you put an action figure underneath holding it up? (Please?)

This one in white is perfect

My 4080 takes four slots. Absolutely ridiculous

Tuf makes big cards, even my 6700xt ASUS TUF is 322mm long and 58mm thick, the cooler is definitely overbuilt since the card stays at 52C core, 72C hotspot at 40-50% fan speed, while being overclocked as far as possible.

Wtf how big is this thing????
*pause…*

Chungoid is not a word in my vocab, thanks

How is the card? Think about buying one this weekend and upgrading from a 3070. Would it be worth it? AM4 platform but plan on upgrading, just want to get the card first. Ryzen 7 5700X

Shit, I’m considering ordering this very model since, for whatever reason, it’s not that much expensive tahn the cheapest versions out here.
It says its like 302mm long, and my case is up to 350 so it should be fine but still… this is a chonky boi.
Kitsune_BCN
Still smaller than 4080 and 4090 😁
This is the pinnacle of civilization tho, I don’t want a GPU swallowing more than 200-250W
For me 4080s and 4090s are a “peak into the future”. Luckily in 1 year you will have this power in a 5070, with half the power consumption.
legrand_fromage
Be careful carrying that down the street. You’d be at risk of getting done for possession of an offensive weapon.

I have non super and it’s giant. No room for other slots on mobo it’s a hog.

I want to throw that at my neighbors window.

I was hoping this wouldn’t come back.
Remember with the RTX 2060/2070 and GTX 16×0 era when <200 and <150 watt video cards would have **honking massive triple fan look at me I am very big** coolers they plain didn’t need? You could find honest to Guthix [triple fan GTX 1660s](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-tuf3-gtx-1660-gaming.b10492). This was a 120 watt card! That’s the same as [the RTX 4060](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/inno3d-rtx-4060-compact.b11165). Which… Yeah, you can also find in triple fan…

Man I love TUF gaming shrouds. They’re just MEAT.
