Prices in Australia has always been insane. I visited a long time ago, 2008 and see nothing has changed. Its a nice place but as far as owning anything nice and current, I’d just visit and not live there.

When I see something like this, I surprised it doesn’t just say “Intel i5” or “Ryzen 5” CPU and only that. It’s surprisingly common. I assume it *can be* intentional to hide its true age.

About 2 years ago I built an *acquaintance* a GTX 970 PC with an i7-4770k for free out of spare parts I had lying around. I literally gave it away (even though that might have been overly generous of me). $1000 for a GTX 960 system is absurd.

I got an old alienware with slightly better specs than this and my buddy told me it’s worth $200 bucks. Literally never had an issue on that thing in my entire life. $400 is CRAZY. paid 1300 for it in 2015.
