I didn’t realize how OG of an owner I am. I bought mine for 800 at the beginning of COVID, ended up balancing out with some luck in my life it was more like I paid 300ish. But yeah the PS4 is still good so I don’t blame anyone who hasn’t switched but those who have love it.

How much of that was scalping?
1984-2029
And yet, they can’t even give a refund for a faulty game. Greedy bastards.

Hope it funds plenty of new games!

Great but more first party games please
I know it’s not quality over quantity but would like more then 2-4 first party games we get a year if that
I got Spider-Man 2 last year and that’s it from Sony, I’d love more smaller games as well doesn’t have to be AAA like Astro boy was great why have we never seen a 30 dollar follow up game?

Still 30fps with some exceptions. I just hope the ps6 will finally aim at 60fps as the standard.

This story doesn’t make sense.
>In a mere six months, PlayStation has seen over 21 million PS5 consoles find their way into homes, and the financial milestone is equally awe-inspiring – the PS5 has generated a whopping $3 billion in revenue.
They’re saying this was within 6 months after *launch?* There’s absolutely no way it had sold that many units by May of 2021, especially with all the supply shortages going on during that time.
My guess is that whatever person or AI wrote this “article” took two unrelated bits of information from the person’s bio who they’re quoting (first piece being that the PS5 had sold 21 million units since launch, at whatever time that bio had been written. The second piece being that it generated $3 billion in revenue over some un-specified 6 month period) and conflated them together.

It doesn’t surprise me, know a bunch of folks who bought PS5s for themselves or their kids this holiday season.
