This is just my opinion but Nintendo needs competition, Palworld is a fresh take in the gaming world, with having both ARK like features aswell as simple creatures like in Pokémon.

Who can really believe that Nintendo don’t know if something remotely infringes on one of theirs ip’s? They is known for sniffing out the smallest thing and slap so hard the law permit them if they have an smallest leg to stand on. If you find something I bet Nintendo’s lawyers is already all over it.

Does it not seem weird that this game came out of nowhere and that suddenly all these big YouTubers are talking about it. Doesn’t seem natural to me

Honestly, “Palworld plagiarized pokemon” is huge stretch. We can argue the design of some of the pals are suspicious, even if most of them looks more than the original animal than the pokemon (sheep guy from the start for exemple)
But in term of gameplay, a mix of pokemon, ark and BotW is just original. Taking things from different source to make your own thing is making something new
Even if they have legal issues, I think it a good thing Palworld exist, it will push gamefreak to wake up and start to make some actually good games
SheepWolves
Seem kinda weird to take it on yourself to help billion companies go after Palworld when Nintento and The Pokémon Company gave you an actual Pokemon game that was the most cheaply made, ps1 looking piece of crap and charge you a AAA price.
I get isn’t pokemon but wouldn’t you be happy to have another pokemon type game to play?
bobface222
Nintendo isn’t exactly shy about defending their IP.
If they thought they had a case, Palworld never would have launched.

John Silver and Anna Jay??? Are they a meme now lol? #JoinTheDarkOrder
ajgutyt
if they had actual chance in court, they would sue as soon as game released

If Temtem hasn’t been taken down by the Pokemon Company or Nintendo, then there’s no way they are touching Palworld

I’m surprised nobody is going to bat for studio Wildcard. It looks like 90% of the art assets (including the splash screen) are just reskins from Ark.

Sounds like someone doesn’t know what amoral means.

Imagine being fed a dog shit products for 20 years, yet still you sprint Naruto style as fast as your gunt will allow you to a billion dollar corporation that doesn’t give a shit about you, nor know who you even are so you can snitch on an indie developer just trying to make a living and make a good game because they made something baring the most tiny of resemblances to an IP that hasn’t even been good since the 00’s.
This is pure, unadulterated maidenless behaviour.
Competition in this genre is a good thing you scrubs. Pokémon is legit YouTube Unity tutorial episode 13 levels of quality, and has been for over a decade now, but ya’ll keep making excuses for it because the brightly coloured kawaii monsters tickles your millenial nostalgia brain. Well, now they have a reason to actually try.

I love watching Nintendo fans squirm lol

Nintendo Fans are the Karen’s of the gaming world and you can’t change my mind.
This is the biggest “I wanna speak to your manager” and “I’m telling my dad on you!” moment in gaming in a long, long time.
Fucking. Pathetic.

I was living in a cave for the past weeks, can someone bring me up to speed on what’s happening?
Skintanium
Nintendo had at least two years to do more than sit on their thumbs knowing this game was coming, and what came of it other than the same ol’ pokè formula?
BlewPeter
Nintendo missed their chance. I just hope they can learn from it.
Lopendebank3
How about not be a snitch?
TheLoneWandererRD
Nintendo is like the eye of Sauron nothing gets past them, if there was even the slightest doubt the game wouldn’t have made it a day in.
Stankfootjuice
People really don’t understand what plagiarism is. Nintendo doesn’t own the concept of open world games where you can tame creatures and make them fight. And as for the pals looking kinda similar… this is a “Simpson’s Did It” thing. There’s almost a thousand pokemon. There’s going to be conceptual overlap.
We all know Nintendo. If they even caught a whiff of something amiss, of some company infringing on their IPs, they’d have cooked these guys alive. Nintendo goes after people who make fucking fanart they don’t like for fucks sake, are you actually crazy enough to think they wouldn’t already be in the process of killing these guys with am avalanche of C&Ds and legal threats if they thought they had a realistic chance? Get real lmao
DontLookAtTheM00N
Man, I never once thought “I wish pokemon did this”.
I keep thinking “I wish Ark did this”.
fuck anyone who actually reported this.
TYBTD
Genuinely pathetic people are actually trying to reach out to Nintendo for this lmao

What sad person is trying to defend Gamefreak, can they really say they are happy with the games they have released?
