Overclocking 7800X3D, what do I need to look out for?

Hi all,
First time AMD CPU user here. I’m mainly using my new PC for gaming and recently have been bottlenecked in a game through my CPU and therefore would like to experiment with overclocking.

However I’m not certain how I should verify if my system is running stable?
Is the VDD,SOD Voltage and the temp the only thing to check during a cinebench r23 run in order for me to verify if my symstem will be able to handle the OC changes I’m attempting to do in BIOS?

First Test score result temp was quite high at about 83c and resulted in 17344points.
Currently using B650E-F Wifi gaming, Ryzen 7 7800X3, RTX 4090, be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX 360mm AiO

Any tipps are welcome

    IMO don’t touch the LLC. Overriding it is basically tricking the CPU into taking more voltage, and it has been demonstrated to be fatal on x3d CPU’s at times.

    r23 isn’t difficult to run and doesn’t check for errors. For something to start with, check out OCCT’s CPU test set to Small – Extreme – AVX512 running on all cores. Prime95 blend can also be good. If you get an error, undo the last change that you made. When you’re done, add +3-10 to each CO as margin.

    Also the majority of the overclocking gains that you can get, even on x3d CPU’s, comes from memory and interconnect overclocking.
