Oh dude, that’s supposed to happen. It’s called ‘christening’ and by simply having it happen (it has to be an unexpected thing, you can’t do it on purpose) you actually give your PC a +5 Reliability score for 4+1D4 years. Not everybody gets this easter egg buff though, so give yourself a pat on the back.
