I have spent over 2000 hours in Night City, from launch to now, and it’s been a hell of a ride.
Unlike 98.2% of launch day players, my first PT was flawless. No crashes, nothing. I remember being upset the game wasn’t what CDPR promised, but once I saw Yorinobu murder his own father at the top of Konpeki Plaza- I knew I’d change my tune. And change my tune I did.
Now it’s 2024. The game is better than ever. With a revitalized open world, better customization, cybernetically enhanced combat and a deep story. Even parkour got better. It’s excellent. Except there are really no other games like this. No other game has quite scratched this Phant inflicted itch.
But we got several game-changing updates, an anime, a huge expansion, and even got a second game and maybe a movie coming next. So it’s not all bad. It even seems 2077 has revived the cyberpunk genre as a whole new wave of games, movies, and shows slowly roll out the woodworks.
Here’s to the future.
***TL;DR*** – I really love everything about cyberpunk and am slightly upset we don’t have other games like it.

True, fking true. I never played a game with so much dedication. Sometimes you grind in the game but end up feels nothing and no satisfaction whatsoever.
This game freely let you build your own playstyle whether being a stealth ninja, tough heavy tank soldier, or maybe a spy netrunner kinda guy? So much possibilities in the game.
Ignore the fking bugs, gameplay is so good.

Just wanna say, driving in the rainy Night City with [Tory Lanez’s The Color Violet](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07fhkAoCnig&pp=ygUbdG9yeSBsYW5leiB0aGUgY29sb3IgdmlvbGV0) in the background is the most chilling thing I’ve ever done in the video game. Might be a little better than driving in GTA V.
Yes. This game caused me to love synthwave music, discover a lot of 80s movies and scifi fiction. it’s not just a game!
I was hater. I played at launch and that shit burned me pretty bad cause I spent money that I probably shouldn’t have and it killed my enjoyment. I was so against this game dude it was crazy. But I’ve been playing it to kill time for Tekken and I gotta say, they really cooked with this one.
Should’ve been finished at the start but they fixed it and couldn’t be happier with the final product
Yeah this and Red Dead Redemption 2 were some great games, and now I’m slowly but surely playing Elden Ring which is awesome. Destiny 2 PvE has amazing gunplay.
Me too. I genuinely think it’s one of the finest games ever made. I don’t know how I’d compare it to the witcher 3 or mass effect for example since I haven’t played them contemporaneously…but goddamn if it’s not #1 it’s either 2 or 3.
