I didn’t. And Judy was an annoying brat the whole quest.
He’s the epitome of the morally grey zones in NC. What he does isn’t pretty but sure as hell necessary. It does take a bit of maturity to see it but that’s how it is and there’s a whole path of dialogue going toward this. Sure the annoying kid with you is angry at you, but i ain’t taking lessons in morallty from someone like Judy who’s sole accomplishements is throwing tantrums and getting everyone around her killed unless some magical person saves her half assed plans again and again through MC power.
Hot take, but very few NPC’s helps NC the way he does.
The other ones “that does good” on NC usually does it using money obtained through even worse ways, either with magical money out of nowhere.
His clinic is shady, but works and is self sustained.
He’s the last net of a lot of people in NC, removing him didn’t suddenly made their lives better, it straight up condemned them as well. The only thing you did in truth was pleasing an emotionnal dumb naive on an even dumber revenge path.
Yakuza 7 talks about that very well, the world isn’t white or black and it applies a LOT on the Cyberpunk world.
Plus, let’s not lie, if Fingers was a tall girl with big boobs, y’all would’ve defended her like your own life was on the line

I keep him alive because I see him as a necessary evil. Sure he sells cheap, broken, or knockoff cyberware to desperate people but these people also have no place else to go. It’s not like they’ll be able to go get the latest tech from a legit ripperdoc if Fingers dies.
With him, they have a chance to continue, without him they have no chance.

Some comments say that he’s a justifiable gray area for NC, but this dude will sell out his patients if it makes him an extra buck. He says it’s to help his other clients, but he’ll buy his chrome from gangs that literally rip them out of living people

I used my big boy brain and reached the conclusion that despite the fact that he’s a piece of shit he’s a necessary piece of shit because all of the districts impoverished would completely lose access to affordable maintenance and medical attention that they desperately need because Fingers barters with his clients and makes arrangements (however icky they might be) for their payment. Without him there is no where for the dolls to go to.
