#1 reason I’ll never buy their products. That’s insanely invasive.

It is a clean reset, but Razer puts the installer on some of the actual devices you plug in and it just auto installs. So as soon as windows was capable of opening that installer, it did, even though the OS is technically still installing. It’s ridiculous to have synapse auto install like that, I hate it
AffectionateFail8434
The installer is on the device itself

I mean, their hardware wasn’t really all that great anyways, not sure why people even stick around to put up with their software.

like alot of computer gamers, i got onto the razer train in 2007 with the deathadder. Took me about ten years of crummy hardware and software to get rid of everything but Deathadder. Now finally moved my mouse to Superlight 2.
Never again. No perphiral software will ever be on my computer for longer than 10 minutes, barring OnboardMemoryManager and SignalRGB.

Weirdly enough the installer and updater of my mouse also works on my Laptop from work where we have no admin rights and normally can’t install any programs and updates without a (temporary) admin password

Set your DPI and settings, save onboard memory profile and disable auto-start at login, simple…

I hate razor synaps so much I learned how to design, 3d print, build, and program my own custom keyboard rather then continue using the Razor Tartarus.
