Picked up a 5800X3D instead of jumping platforms for a really cheap upgrade. Decided to grab a cheap kit of DDR4 to play around with too. My last kit was a really bad bin of Rev E.
No matter what I do I can’t get 1T to stabilize. Playing with the ProcODT and setup times will get it to post and boot, but as soon as I start a memtest it immediately crashes. This is rock solid though.
Overall it was one of the easier kits to overclock I’ve had. Seemed like as soon as I could get it to post, that setting passed all the memory tests. Most kits I had before had me waiting 2 hours for a random error, then adjusting a setting up slightly and took forever.
If anyone’s still in the market for a cheap dual rank kit for their AM4 setup, this stuff is really nice.
