I’ve got a keyboard that I’ve used for 7 or 8 years. A cheap Lenovo that a friend at State Farm (not Jake) gave me because it was just sitting there and I needed a keyboard. Still has all of the letters on it, though WASD are starting to fade some.

I don’t know how you dented the daylights out of your keys.

Off topic. I have an office keyboard from Logitech, it’s been 13 years already and none of the keys got scratched, and it still functions normally. So think twice before buying an expensive clacky keyboard.

You should probably stop assaulting your keys.

Why are you gaming on the free keyboard that comes with Dell desktops. Maybe cut your nails my school used these for 5 years and it’s never happened

soft abs plastic, acidic sweat, long nails. theres vertical nail marks on every heavily worn key that someone might arch their fingers for.

Ahhh, unaware that he is a thing, and tried to absorb his keyboard for greater control.

You need a hot-swappable mechanical keyboard with double shot pbt keycaps.

This happens only if you just using pc for school 🙂

These keycaps look dye-sublimated meaning you basically scratched the printed on legends off and your hand oils filled in the textures letting them look more shiny.

Do you use your keyboard while wearing sunscreen, bug spray, or other solvents?
