800 bucks is insane. Some miner cards are rusted pieces of crap.
That guy wanted to get rich with mining and bought at Covid prices.
You could buy a brand new 7900xt for 710$ that’s much faster.

Tell him you have cash and you’ll meet him half way, somewhere like 30-45 min from him and offer extra for him to meet you if you have to. Let him get there and keep telling him you’re 5 min away when he asks where you are. You’re never going to show up.

Wasting scalpers time is the best way to combat their bullshit. I did this over and over again to scalpers during the GPU Armageddon.
Wasting their time also makes it harder for them to find someone stupid that will actually buy at that price.
I wouldn’t pay 800 for a 3090 with the super cards shipping. Heck, I wouldn’t have paid 800 for a 3090 without the super cards.

Welp mining is surging some so their “value” change could be more inline with mining than gaming. Still if gaming there’s no reason to not buy something new with a budget of $800.

I got a Gigabyte 3090 Vision from a miner for 600$ over a year ago for a build that went well. But that was a really good deal then and the card was physically beat. No way in hell it is worth 800$ today.
If you don’t agree with the price, just move the fuck on. It’s his card, his listing. He asks what he wants.
