WHO AM I:
👋🏽 I’m Martin, in esport world known as STYKO. I’ve played CS:GO professionally for a few years in various best international teams in the world.
👣 I used to be a part of HellRaisers, where my esport journey started. I represented mousesports and peaked #2 in the world and I also wore Cloud9 and FPX jerseys, one of most famous esport organisations in the world. Now I am part of team Apeks which made it to TOP4 of last CS:GO Major in Paris.

  1. I'd have another thought of doing that, without you somewhat changing your muscle memory: play with the left hand

  2. I havent seen the video yet, but I have always imagined cs2 gameplay and my initial strategic theory when I started to IGL was: How to get most of every single fight or how to get something from every lost fight. Basically, if I fail aim-wise, there is someone trading. If we go for duel and we lose it, will we get additional information that will be still worth dying? Also taking only fights that are favourable is alwaays a good thing… of course this type of mentality gets you far team-wise, but alters each players confidence and thinking. Then you start overthinking everything and without confidence, you lose the first duels and openings. The equilibrium should be somewhere in-between. Taking fights with full confidence, but not beeing overconfident. Also beeing aware of the outcome of lost duel is important, but you cant overthink it.

  3. I've done this in Valorant to see how high I could rank. I played on both high sens, or my usual sens but with my left hand. On high sens I reached Ascendant and left handed I hit Diamond.
Problem with the high sens change was that I couldn't bring myself to unlearn things like crosshair placement, at least it was more difficult to maintain good crosshair placement with my left hand than it was on right with high sens.

  4. This is a very good video and concept.
I'm 32, I'm inaccurate as hell compared to what I used to be, but I'm playing CS2 at around 17,500 MMR right now (not saying that's amazing but Im happy with it) and honestly my younger more twitchy friends are much lower rank than I am because they don't bother with the things that I do, like game sense, utility usage (actually going into offline and testing smokes and flashes), movement (kz practice etc) – I get so many free kills every game with just proper util usage and fast movement even though my aim sucks and my headshot percentage is a measly 34%. Many of them are still stuck at around 8k or below.

Another thing that people dont want to do is to set their team mates up for success – thats again where proper util usage comes in, mid can't be a problem if you smoke it every round. If a guy is killing my team from Dark (Anubis) every round, I just smoke it from spawn and make sure they cant die to that player again.

  5. Great video! I have managed to hit 11k premier with 450h on very poor aim. I have though watched a lot of pro cs before so that game sense still carries me to somewhat success. But I feel like especially with teams that like to just run and thrust their aim I really struggle (and also against rushing teams), it feels like I forget how to aim all of sudden. I guess that only comes with time and experience, though would be great if you had some tips how to improve on that!

  6. Even you confuse A and B on Anubis :D, it's so weird why it's so natural for them to be swapped.

  7. It’s a funny idea but sometimes I’d just be patient and tell to myself “don’t do anything stupid” and will simply work out like that, by playing “correct” 😅

  8. Love the video man! I have never been an aim player, and you gave me a lot of hope to still playing and mastering the game. There is still hope.

  9. normal sensitivity but introduce input lag or lower your reaction time with substances. humanbenchmark yourself before and after. reaction time is a huge part of aiming, too, I believe

  10. I literally never comment on video's, but i have to this time. A pug where a pro literally explains his SITUATIONAL thought process step by step. No one does this. This content is super usefull for literally anyone, from beginner to advanced!

  11. >"aim is overrated"
    >loses every duel
    >complains how hard it is to aim after each round
    >starts baiting his teammates to get positive k/d (1.0 btw)
    >loses
    >"see guys? aim is overrated"

  12. Styko, is there a page which gives a good statistic about my gameplay and stuff, i am thinking about pages like ggpredict or do you won't recommened those pages? Thank you Bruh <3

  13. I think that Aim is actually "time to kill". People confuse aim with mouse control alot. Aim to me includes crosshair placement, map knowledge, game sense, counter strafing, spray control and mouse control all of which lower the time to kill i.e good aim. As a kovaaks player I noticed that tac fps doesn't reward mouse control anywhere near as much as most other fps games. All the other aspects I said are way more significant. Super cool idea, great video man!
