    Genuinely lots of stuff like this across every market and product, from video cards to cars, from restaurant interiors to toothpaste.

    Some people online call it “refinement culture.” Everything converging over time around the same basic model of successful design: sleek, inoffensive, minimalist, smooth, bare — in short, character-less.

    I hate it. And I want everything to be weird and cringe again.

    I have one of those 😀

    Mine is the Medion R9800XT XXL 128MB. Very nice card. Has a semi backplate and big heatsink. Bought it for 30$ 🙂
