For me it’s not the camera angle, but the car design. The dash is sometimes just too big it covers the lower half of my vision. The low roof of some vehicles also covers the upper half, especially if I’m using a 1st person driving camera mod to move the camera.

Agreed. I keep trying to drive in first person but in most cars I literally can’t see the road in front of me.
theshekelcollector
you mean yoloing into intersections isn’t lore-accurate nc driving?
timothyalyxandr
I think the first person camera is set too low to begin with.

That’s why I drive with the external camera

There’s a mod specifically for this. Lets you change the FOV and adjust the camera position

I don’t think that’s the actual problem, even with the mod that increases the camera height on driving, it still feels off. Humans naturally have way more FOV because of our peripheral vision. Cyberpunk allows 100 degrees FOV i believe, and it is very distorted at that point (not sure if it’s also that distorted on ultrawide monitors). We on the other hand have 135 degrees FOV naturally and there is no distortion, so when driving in most games, it feels very cramped. Add to that that there is no actual mirror which makes me uncomfortable driving in first person.

Wait, there isn’t a mod for that?, I can try and see if I can make one since I never drive in fpp.

The pov is actually pretty accurate if ur smol like me

This and the over-sensitivity set by default I think are why so many people struggle with driving. The latter can be fixed in the settings but the fact it’s so high by default is baffling.

Yea and on ps5 the first person fov is dogwater
BreadAndRoses773
holy shit word I though you might be able to adjust height like gran turismo no nothing

I love the way the Tyger Claws Shion car looks, but man are they horrible to drive

The problem is the Field of View seems to be locked to an amount that would be good if I was wearing a VR headset and could actually just look around while driving.

Does anyone know how to give the brightness inside?

No no no no, you forgot we drive like we’re on the seas during a Storm in first person
