Somebody saying something against the thermal take view 71tg?
SnuffleWumpkins
lol I’ve got 2 case fans and have zero issues with overheating.

You can get great temps with just 3 140mm fans, but you do need a mesh front panel still
Darth-Zoolu
I was about to say I only have three and then I realized I have six
Dregshak
i dunno i only have 1 fan on my computer case and i don’t have any issues with heat
KaptainSaki
3 fans and wraith is plenty for most builds if the case isn’t sealed plastic bag

Is that a pic of my PC? How did you get that
Born_Faithlessness_3
You forgot the obligatory picture of the heatsink with the “remove before attaching to CPU” film still attached, with thermal paste smeared all over it.

I actually have that cooler and it works perfectly fine.

Genuine question, out of all of these, how bad is a shitty case? Lets say u got a good cooler, lots of good case fans and u keep ur pc clean, how bad, if u can estimate, will a shitty case hinder temp performance? Just wondering what the general consensus is, would your temps be eg: 10% worse? Lets say the parameters here is a ‘normal looking’ itx case. But a shit one.

the alternative starter pack should be a gaming laptop with no cooling pad on a flat surface

I feel attacked how did you get a picture of my last PC? Lol (first pic)

I have 2 case fans and my temps are fine.
Most builds don’t need more than 2-3 fans

I have a 15 years old case with just one big ass fan in the side panel, no other fans, stock cooler on my r7 2700x and a rx6700 xt. never had issues with overheating by just cleaning it up and changing the thermal paste once a year. I assume everyone who complains about overheating either has a dirty ass pc, or very power hungry components with abysmal cooling.

Mine is perfectly dusted, has supposedly the best AIO on the market, and 6 fans. 99c when gaming, 70 idle.
oh hey! it’s my PC!
(the motherboard broke)
a wraith spire instead of the wraith stealth or the stock intel cooler, somewhat of a strange choice.
I have only 2 fans
It should be the Intel stock cooler lol
Outside of dusting, I feel attacked. Now brb gotta put a bowl of ice on my cpu.
give me solutions not problems
Yeah I had that Thermaltake case for two years and it’s true, my CPU was always hot af.
