PSA: The SZ Holotherm is probably the best optic in the game

I’ve used a bunch of optics along the way, but they all have some kind of a drawback.

Scopes let you reach out and touch someone easily, but they make up-close and personal encounters problematic.

Reddots make longer shots am issue, especially if the dot itself is big (as it can obscure the target).

Thermals make threat identification easier, but if you have a hellhound explode in front of you, you can’t see anything through them, plus they only let you see the target without any terrain features between you and it. Then can also obscure a lot of your LOS.

And that’s when I found the SZ Holotherm. It’s absolutely amazing. It highlights the target with a bright orange glow, the reticle is a thin, *thin* cross that makes longer shots possible (doesn’t cover the target), you can see your surroundings through it easily and the whole thing doesn’t cover half the screen.

It’s my go-to optic on any weapon that can use it. Give it a shot (pardon the pun) – you won’t regret it.
