Finally found a way to keep the cats off the gaming computer. NR200P max, cat scat mat with spikes, zip ties. Now they lay on each other.

Poor kitty, just wanted to be close to the owner on a spot that’s warm.

My cat would probably use it as a self petting station

    >cat scat

Uh oh. This may have unintended consequences.

Then shut the door of where you have your PC at so the cats can’t get to it. You don’t need to invent or create stuff like that

That’s hilarious. It takes the threat of being spiked over your whole body for the cats to realize cuddling is a viable alternative for warmth 🤣 They’re probably plotting how they’re gonna reclaim their old spot now.

Lmfao it’s the HELLRAISER PC. I don’t have a problem with a cat sleeping on my PC tho

My cat would take those as a challenge. Probably come home to find he carried a kitchen towel to my office to make it into a new bed

Does it hurt the cat or is it just not comfortable?

And does the answer change if they jump onto it from about 2-3 feet.

For everyone wondering, the cats absolutely have not tried to climb, lie, or jump on the computer since I added the spike mat. The older cat touched the spikes with a paw to investigate when I first put it on. That was the end of them trying to get on the computer. The younger one does still walk on the keyboard though, so if anyone has a solution, let me know.
