How can anyone trust DICE again after BF2042? Unreal destruction was also promotion material for BF2042 if anyone remembers…
They should have a little more focus on verticality in the maps if they wanna do 128 players again. Nothing too tall but a decent amount of small-medium sized buildings
They had it all, the amazing destruction building up through BC2BF3BF4BF1BF5, hell, even 'BF2 Project Reality' had destructive building. Then lost all of it in BF2042.
DICE, please, no BS sound-bites, no Marketing hype, show us the goods and I don't mean FMV, show us the gameplay with the return of destruction and boots on the ground.
I think the REAL problem with 2042 is that it came out like 2 years before it should have. It wasn’t the 128 players, it wasn’t design direction it was the higher ups forcing the devs to put the game out before it was ready.
No one probably cares but I stop playing battlefield after Bf1. After that it started losing its “essence” I’m in my 40’s and I still hope battlefield will return to its roots.

Do not preorder, wait at least 2-weeks after release to make an informed decision. Do not forget what they did to us when they released 2042, DICE is not the same studio anymore.

Please tell them to bring back the Air vehicle mechanics from Bf3 or BF4. It had the perfect engine to make it competitive

BF has really tired me out, this game has died if they manage to resurrect it that would be a big accomplishment. Its dead.
DICE really should do something similar to what 'The Finals' developers have done with destruction. (Ironically they are former DICE devs who worked on BC2 and Battlefield 3, along with Mirror's Edge) Have the destruction server-side, as you can tell it makes a HUGE difference and if DICE can implement that with the next "Frostbite Engine", it could be a game changer for the series.
Sadly I have to say that we've heard this all before!
I would never pre-order this game again.

Specialists class switch was a quality of life improvement. I hope it stays.
