Samurai versions sick but the other one has some epic vibes to it
Acalthu
Valentinos fight music is best.
Eliaskar23
Cover version.
TheLordOfTheFallen01
Chippin In
DaveMash
Samurai is best. Olga has a great fitting voice but for me this version is too grimy(?). Too much emphasis on the bassline which is slow as hell. I like the Vicetone version tho and play it once in a while for warmup sets
ZeroSekai000
Black Dog.
Flamestranger
As much as I love the other one, the Samurai one always feels like it’s punk in the way that Cyberpunk is punk.
You can almost feel the hype of a crowd who’s excited to eat the rich
Ribbon7
Is there a option to revert ingame music to original one before update?
jugdar13
I vibe more with the female vocals version
nukeularkupcake
I like both but the second cover is better. I got a poster of that one and honestly might get a tattoo of it
MorenaLedovec
refused is one of my faves, but both
Couch_Prime
Archangel
Comrade_Bread
All the samurai songs and cover slap nuts and I’ll not hear otherwise
Illasaviel
Both are good for different moods. I kind of gravitate more towards the melancholy tinge of Olga’s version, thought.
Golden_Shart
Cover version don’t even come close everyone here high af

What stations do yall find samurai pops up on most often, Morro Rock?

real ass answer for me: the cover is too slow sometimes. i do like that it’s more clean guitar rather than distortion but the original has that perfect 80s esque metal sound. also i LOVE the chorus riff when it’s at that speed and is that loud. original takes the cake for me.

The Refused version is my favorite song OAT, but the End Credits Mix is hauntingly beautiful and somehow goes perfectly with whatever emotions you’re feeling from each ending. So I’m in your side, though its nearly a tie.
Dragonzaka
No one’s listening to this boomer music anymore. Try some Us Cracks or lazrpop
Lizzy Wizzy has a new bd out
Representative_Fun15
If this is a noob question I apologize, but where can you listen to the music outside the game?
I did get the bonus content, but that’s all the incidental, instrumental music (opener, etc.)
The heavy bass really ruins it imo. Doesn’t match the mood of the cover.
Aggressive_Seacock
Samurai version hits hard driving through NC and badlands, Olga’s version is nice to relax and gives good vibes after finishing the game
MechShield
Cover for sure, or the “red car” as far as this meme is concerned.
Its far moodier and melancholy for me, which I associate FAR FAR more with Cyberpunk than rock.
salucas1990
Ballad of Buck Ravers.
PointBlank579
I really like the cover for Chippin In like I couldn’t stop listening to it after I first heard it but that being said I think the original is amazing as well!
killingjoke96
Look you can argue which one of these is best.
But there’ll never be a more hype Samurai moment than when you play A Like Supreme with Kerry and Co.
Also a fun detail during that scene is all of the chords and movements check out, including V’s first-person. They did the entire scene in mo-cap appatently.
kolosmenus
You know what I preferred? Chippin In from one of the first game trailers. They’ve changed it completely and for the worse imo
snake_edger
“Slow, overdramatic cover with creaking female vocals” is one of my most hated trends, so not only do I prefer the original, the cover can go fuck itself.

I prefer never fade away.
Totally agree
Can’t have one without the other…

The original Chippin’ In.
Not the dumbed-down corpo version on the radio, the [original, best version](https://youtu.be/_Ud65jWxMJg?si=CDn6sSxfLPf9LMHO), as written by Pondsmith.
Agreed
