Me, if this costs the same as a standard mobo I am all for it. That means we could save money with PSU’s and the companies wont need to include fancy sleeved or braided cables.
I like the look that would be possible. But sinve i haven’t worked with that stuff so far I am not sure if I want to

As long as the board is compatible with all of the cases that are available in the market.
To be honest I think this is the right thing to do, specially the Asus solution that also includes GPU power. They just need to come together and agree on a standard and get on with it. Personally i have wished for connectors on the back side for ages, it only makes sense you are routing cables on the back side anyways why wouldn’t you connect them there? In theory you should be able to “convert” most atx cases with a dremel and some DIY.
I dont think this is fully compatible with the o11 mini, maybe if I remove the mobo extension bracket but still not sure. So not really down

i don’t closely follow the trend but, doesn’t this require the case to have somewhat serious depth on the back in order to make the the cable with it’s ‘arc’ snugly fit?
Definitely going for it when i upgrade next. Obv manufacturers need to make cases for em tho. Hope it sticks.

Love it, would get one right away. I assume they fit the larger Lian Li cases already? Or will we have to wait for new ones with even more space in the right chamber?

I watched the video on this and their case doesn’t look bad. It looked easier to hook everything up than the current traditional way.
You’d be limited to a couple of cases though so that kind of sucks.
What’s the difference between a normal mobo? I don’t see anything.
I’m gonna be honest, when I use PCs I don’t look at my pc and I couldn’t care less for the aesthetics of it.
You need a special case to fit the Mobo
The cable management will be aweful in the back because the elongated cables are meant to go from the back to the front will hang in the back panel : so a special PSU too (?)
However, there’s big useful point of “tech-support” to have easy access the the cable.
So I wouldn’t buy it, even though it might be useful for the support, it’s a hassle for the case, the PSU and the cable management.
I don’t want to open the back panel to solve issues. I also don’t care how it looks.
In its current implementation its just stupid. every brand does their own thing, tying you to their products without any real alternatives.
Just develop a proper industry standard around it so the user doesnt end up with compatibility problems.
Nice! Can’t wait for my GPU to have reverse cables as well! It’s a really cool idea, but i’ll take a couple years before people actually start making cases universal for mobos like this.
I like cables on and around motherboard, it gives most satisfaction than just a pile up of PC components.

Instead it brings new complications to PC build, by introducing a non-standard motherboard which is not compatible with all cases (hopefully in future cases). So again this needs to be standardized.
It occupies a good width of case – most probably all cases need to be dual chamber width of cases at the least. Even now I face problem in accommodating PC in a standard 4 feet table. This also needs some solution.
So back to square, what is the problem this solution is trying to solve?
