I keep Steam Overlay for the browser, notepad and to configure Steam Input. Shadowplay I almost always have disabled unless I need to record something niche. Haven’t even opened Discord in months, and I have no clue what the bottom left is.

Steam’s shift + tab is so annoying when you have to open a menu in game while running, i died because of it so many times in far cry primal

I disable everything that’s unnecessary on startup. It takes 10 seconds to change startup app behavior.
Overlays are the worst anyway, and can hurt performance.

When I used Windows I had to rebind nvidia experience alt+z to something different because always when i wanted to type ż a letter from my native language i couldn’t because this stupid nvidia experience showed up
