Pop ups and fake download buttons? This would be some solid advice if it was still 2010.
Virus protection is really good nowadays as is. The only real way to get something truly malicious is to actively be doing something you know damn well you shouldn’t and installing it yourself when you think you’re installing/ downloading that game/ movie/ book/ etc. you couldn’t shell out $10 for. Just be smart with your browsing and you’ll be fine.

We had something like those in Romania, Even at TV they had to tell people that those were fakes

i have five adblockers and not only does youtube not find them also they dont even block popups

Straight honest, kaspersky saved my ass from a phishing link clicked on knowing it would be a phishing link. AV still has a purpose even if I only trigger once every couple of months. Adblocker does a ton, but AV webfiltering plays a big part too especially when browsers can only do so much when it comes to their own web filters.
