I killed it today with Tonfa Pap3 and legendary for the first time. Did it in less than 30 secs
Pap3 ray gun does decent damage to it but if you want cheese the tonfas legendary tooled and pap3 can decimate it as well.
I just finished it today with these exact weapons. Got lucky with an instakill and it helped to take off a lot of its health.
Put dead wire on your gun
You could just go to tier 3 buy 1-2 jug suits and then aim for the face since disciples have a face mask as armor after that breaks they’re really weak. Also if he does the sucking beam attack he recharges health so you gotta shoot his hand (obv. The one with the beam) to stop it. Once you know how they work you can destroy them quickly. You don’t even need a packed gun or perks with my method. With one jug suit you’ll get pretty low the second is just for the last few hp.
P.s jug suits are only buyable in tier 3 and cost 10k each.

I got lucky when I fought mine for the mission, it glitched out and was moving back and forth very fast that it just stood in place, it took me longer since I was missing a lot of shots but eventually I killed him, had PAP 2 and epic rarity.
Pap 3 legendary tonfa. Rush in, toss decoys to distract the zombies. Beat down the storm caller in about 15 seconds.
Lol I feel you. Just completed this last night had some random come on a bike and glitched him into the ground. Just stood right on top of him with the Lockwood 680 and hammered away. It still took awhile, he’s a bullet sponge. There is another glitch where you can agro him out of the storm when you drive around him with a vehicle and then he will just die. I couldn’t get it to work though.
You gotta shoot it in the mouth bro.
Not sure if counts for the mission, but if drive through in a vehicle and get him to aggro onto you and drive far enough out of the circle, he’ll get too far outside the storm and just die. Free 5k essence if you sell the gold skull.
I’m feel that I’m stuck on this mission, can’t even get him to quarter of the way health with pp3 guns I’m gonna try the PP3 legendary Tonfa like everyone is saying today though, I’ll let you know how it goes if you haven’t finished
i did it using Pap2 epic rarity akimbo snakeshot Tyr Handcannons with a deadwire ammo mod.

Deadwire on a gold pap 3 Lockwood 680 with slugs and shoot it in the head, maybe a turret or 2 and some monkey bombs wouldn’t hurt either, and don’t use a dog, it’s just free health for it.
