For me stealth is never optional, it is always mandatory.
I just love the feeling of being a sneaky V, specially in 2.0 with the crouch sprinting that trigger optical camo. I can just dash around putting baddies to sleep, no weapon necessary. Don’t even need an OS.
Playing this game on very hard without a OS, and just a silenced pistol is my new favorite gameplay challenge. Early game you absolutely need to use takedowns as much as possible, because 1 elite can kill you 1v1. (As silenced pistols suck in combat)
Later in the game I allow myself to use overwatch and a katana, because some fights are impossible with just a silenced pistol. (Like Oda)

Silenced Pistol, oof damage-multiplier (funny thing is non-lethal ), headshot-Skills.

I prefer non-lethal takedowns, but Goodbye Night City made me rip that HMG and shred those omniscient Militech gonks. Dakota was pissed though, that bitch.
