idk why people use 4K resolution as the norm and baseline resolution when determining how good a GPU is when most gamers play on 1080p and 1440p.

I have that exact card in the meme (3080 gaming z trio) and bought it on the marketplace for 90$ because the previews owner thought it was broken (artifacts) and bought a 4070 to replace it. Turns out I just had to send it to resolder the core and was good as new. Now it’s a beast and it barely fits my case. I know they cost 1000$+ on Amazon and I wouldn’t even consider to buy it at that price

I don’t get why Nvidia is always stingy about vram. AMD puts 16GB on the 6800xt but they put 8-12GB on their similar gpus (3070/3080). Vram can’t be that expensive.

I’m running a 3080 on a 3440×1440 100hz monitor. Coming from an 1080ti that was a huge improvement on that resolution. I have no issues running any games on max with this setup.

Stuck here with a 1070 since 2018. Can’t even upgrade because of CPU bottleneck. New PC would cost around 1,500€. I just bought a Steam Deck and called it a day 😂
