“You wouldn’t happen to know where I could find this particular screw for a card that was out of warranty for a few years even before you closed down your GPU branch?” “We’ll send you some ASAP” EVGA is the best

Yes, this is support that creates an insane amount of brand loyalty and word of mouth propaganda. This is perfect.

Is that the 1070 black OC? Dude, if it is my wife is running it when I upgraded to a 3070!
I miss EVGA so much, been with them since 2013 for their PSU’s and GPU’s

Lost a screw to my ASUS 3060 heatsink and it’s now overheating. Contacted Asus and they told me if I want to rma it, I would have to find another of the same gpu, remove a screw from there, and send it to them with my gpu. Basically offered to put in the screw and nothing more. What a joke

Stuff like this is why I have no idea what my next GPU will be, I’ve heard horror stories from every other company. EVGA even openly stated opening up your GPU didn’t void your warranty while companies like gigabyte will deny warranty coverage if they see the illegal sticker was removed

EVGA = GOAT
I do understand why they left the market but it sucks. EVGA was always worth an extra $20 easy, less likely to break and great CS if something went wrong.

I’ve used EVGA cards exclusively since my 8800. it’s time to upgrade (ultra wide screens are taxing) and I don’t really know who to trust anymore.

I asked them about 1080ti screws a year ago and they told me the didn’t have them. Should I try again?

Noctua is 1st in class when it comes to customer support.

I still have my EVGA 1070. Love that thing.

I buy EVGA products whenever possible.

In college I bought a GTX 770 from somebody and then the fans started making horrible noises. I emailed them and they RMA’d me no questions asked. Phenomenal customer service

I still hope they make a comeback with either amd or intel. I loves their nvidia designs for gpus

I had optimization issues with a new build about 3 months in where performance wasn’t running right. The tech support agent picked up the issue was actually with my CPU and made some suggestions for the settings and then linked me to 3DMark to test it out to see if my rig is performing comparably to other setups. All just because I wasn’t getting full GPU utilization. Followed the steps and got improvements across the board and fixed the issue.
It still hurts to know they will never come back to the GPU market. Are their any equivalents or closest brands to them in the GPU market for nVidia and AMD?

I have a dead evga 970 here. Maybe worth a shot?

I would like to mention the excellent support at XFX as well. RMA’d a GPU that was sold from a third part Amazon seller. According to their own terms of service, third party sellers are not supported. I sent them the receipt which even showed that it was third party and they RMA’d it and sent me a new GPU within a couple of weeks, free of charge.
