There are actually a couple of mods for the PC version that make the lighting and colors more in line with the E3 version of the game. They look really nice.
I wonder why they decided not to add 3rd person cut scenes like this into the finished product.
You can tell the npc’s we’re multiplied when they went outside for the first time. You see the tiger jacket Mohawk guy when you walk down the steps and as soon as you cross the crosswalk. But other than that nothing really serious about it just an observation. I really wish they could stick with all those little details about the apartment, the holo-calls and just the HUD displays.. also the traction on the driving looked pretty good. Mannnnnnnnn ughhhhhh I really wish they could released the game in 2025. With all of this in tact and and the other DLC’s and lore content pertaining night city, and Witcher being the underground part of nightcity hence FF06b5 mystery. And just the lore of both em in general.
It honestly is the greatest game I’ve ever played. And I have high hopes for projeckt Orion.
Idk if it is mentioned in the video OP uploaded but in the full demo video after leaving Vic’s it mentions that some ripperdocs will offer “black market services” that will let you buy “ illegal military grade cyberware” I’m not 100% sure what all of that means but it seems like there was going to be more to the ripperdocs than what we got. Also seems like they intended for “military grade cyberware” to be a unique category of its own? Probably something along the lines of what iconic items ended up being. Regardless seems interesting hope that maybe the second game could have something like this.
What exactly do people miss from this? The 3rd person cutscenes or during dialogue. Those are nice. I like them in Mass Effect and Baulders Gate 3…but I’m fine without.
I kinda forgot about the one night stands you were supposed to be able to have.

Man t bug calling and you seeing her in the chair is sick. The weird holo calls where you can’t see the background and also no cam is recording them always confused me. The t bugs just at her web cam is way slayer.
So glad they went all 1st person and got rid of those cutscenes

this was amazing for 2018, but the current game with ray tracing looks way better.
Honestly I much prefer how the game looks now compared to 2018. E3 just has too much bloom for my taste, too foggy, too bright at times. I like the darker feel that the current game has.
Some pot stirring. Ugh it’s hard to watch this video and be reminded of all the things that were cut from the full game. I’m not a developer so I can’t even begin to imagine the process that lead to changing some of this stuff around but certain things were already in this demo that aren’t even in the full game.
There were a lot of great ideas that just weren’t able to make it into the release version of 2077 but maybe we’ll see them in Orion. Especially that hacking menu, I like that so much more than the matching mini-game. Also would like to see Monowire come back as a ranged hacking tool to allow someone to hack even if they’re running Berserk or Sandevistan.

I’m personally glad that the game is entirely in first person. I found it to be unique and way more immersive.
