For me Hansen’s fight went surprisingly hard AF

Him seeing my near Cyberpsycho V with a Military Grade Sandy and blades as long as his arms for hands, and he just goes “lmao I’m gonna go shank her in the ribs with two knives rq guys brb” is funny as fuck and reminds me of Krauser from Resident Evil
I absolutely love the trash talking and insults Hansen and V constantly throw at each other mid-fight
His fancy dodgeable knife animations where he can get you in a cutscene where he nearly fillets you and you have to block his knife by having it stab you through the hand so you can grab his fist and counter sock him in the jaw are cool as hell
For being a supposed king in a tiny castle that is Dogtown man sure knew how to throw hands with the best of them, I guess that’s Why Militech made him a Black Ops Colonel in the first place

On my last play through I was sneaking and got behind Placide and broke his neck. Before then I didn’t know you could skip the fight by sneaking on him.

Hansen’s fight but I’ll probably never do it again due to what happens before and after. I feel traumatized by that ending. Second place is probably chimera. Placide is not a boss fight in my opinion.

Smasher, even 2.1 version is still a joke he can just take more damage before dying now. The fight was confusing too. Played on very hard. He didn’t do almost any damage to me but I kept running away just in case, hitting him with Raiju and putting hacks on him.

for purely the boss fight and nothing else, Hansen for certain, if you include context, everything leading up to the fight, and the ultimate outcome? Chimera tank, you’re fighting a giant tank with the president of the nusa and the cutscenes leading up to the actual fight are just so cool

Placide isn’t a boss. Placide is a low ranking bitch who is so ignorant he tried to flatline the person who was hand delivering Maman Brigitte exactly what she wanted.

The tank for sure, because on my only playthru of PL to date, I watched Alex dumpster Hanson like it was as easy as breathing. The Tank fight had me using all I had just to make it thru and I was lvl 50. Oda is a solid 2nd because unless you figure him out fast, he is deadly. Sasquatch is 3rd if you face her and not sneak past her.

Oda is my personal favorite. Let me explain why:
1. His entrance scene is cool and smooth as hell.
2. The whole level buildup looks so awesome. There are candles everywhere.. cams you can hack.. etc.
Second is definitely Kurt Hansen:
1.nice entrance with that smoke or flash grenade.
2. He keeps talking to you and insulting you.
Third is the Chimera. Chimera is my personal Endboss and I always needed multiple tries against it with my Netrunner and cool builds.. Netrunner was a little bit easier due to smart weapons, but cool build was really difficult, because there is nothing to hide and the chimera keeps locking you on.

Maxtac was really cool. Kinda easy, but the whole thing from meeting 6 street to the fight was well done.

Me personally, hansen was way too tanky for my pistols and as such, i had to whip out rebbeca shotgun for extra fire power. This would not be so if not for me forgetting to switch back to sandevistan prior to the mission, and this would STILL not be do bad if not for that fucker trapping me in the corner and making me absolutely shit my pants during his last 15% health

Placide js a boss fight? Tbh, the fact that i didnt encounter that where as i encountered the rest; i wouldnt count him as a boss.

Gameplay-wise, I gotta say the chimera. It was fun mostly because it didn’t feel like a fight, more like we’re trying to survive. Story-wise though, gotta be the tier 5 maxtac, just because every time they’re mentioned in the lore people always seem either terrified or just saying they don’t wanna fuck with them. And if you get 5 stars, you can see what they mean. I could be slaughtering normal cops forever and one maxtac squad shows up and destroys me in 3 shots.

Unpopular opinion but i think chimera isn’t that good, because if u r a meele Sandy build, is actually pretty hard to consistently fight like using gun, u need to constantly run.
But still my favorite boss fight

I remember one time before the phantom libertu update I was mad AF at something real life so I decided to take my aggression out in game. After I accidentally ran over a sixth Street member was gonna run but I was pissed so I decided to take em head on and they weren’t anything special. Then going to the entrance of Dogtown after phantom liberty came out guy hit me and I got max tac called one me so I decided to blow off some steam they beat my character black and blue still took out a very good chunk of them but still beat me black and blue

Placide or Kurt Hansen. They’re the kind of ass hole villains I play as whenever I get the chance in different games. They have leverage, and they’re rude as hell (Kurt was actually kind of nice tbf). But I hate being on the other side of it.
