Hello guys i just want your opinion on some results about R7 5700x in cinebench 23 , the temps while testing vs while playing the score stock vs pbo …
First note i do not configure anything i do not know how to put values and use curve optimizer , so all i did is turn pbo from Auto to Enabled and there is a noticeable boost in the multicores score in cinibench 23 and cpuZ .
With stock setting on cinebench 23 :
Multicore score : 12195 pts
SingleCore score : 1500 pts
CpuZ multicore : 5648 pts
CpuZ singlecore : 639 pts
With pbo enabled on cinebench 23 :
Multicore score : 15117 pts
SingleCore score : 1520 pts
Cpuz multicore : 6500 pts
CpuZ singlecore : 640 pts
Before enabling pbo temps on cinibebch 23 were 65 c° – 70 c° , after enabling pbo and run a 10 min throttling test which scores 15117 pts on multicore score temps reached 85 c° is this normal ? Because i tried a gaming session (3 hours session on alan wake 2 and temps never pass 63 c° mark ) !
The pc is stable on this tests while gaming and on idle ( i let it alone for hours ) .
Are these results good with just enabling pbo ?
Note my mobo is not great gigabyte B450 m ds3h .
32 gb ram 3200 mhz
700 watt psu
Rtx 3070

A cinebench score equivalent to about 4.35GHz
i have your same mobo, do u mind sharing your pbo settings?
Ram is usually the bottleneck on am4 so ram tune is more important than core OC…
