Hi,

I need help with identifying IC of my RAM.

This is a G.Skill Ram.

Part Number: F4-3600C16-16GTZNC (app) & F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC (stick).

S/N: 04266X8820C.

According to this [GUIDE](https://github.com/integralfx/MemTestHelper/blob/oc-guide/DDR4%20OC%20Guide.md) and others, my RAM is Hynix according to S/N, but the Thaiphoon app says that the chip is from SpecTek (Micron E-die). Who is lying?

    So ether CJR or E-die.

    XMP -timings match CJR. Chip says E-die.. From this info only I bet on CJR

    Also from S/N: 04266X8820C – C is the die type. Pray its Hynix C-die and not Micron C-die…

    But they wouldnt put such bad die in relatively high tier Gskill DDR4

    I would think it is less likely SPD is programmed incorrectly than the label is wrong. But who knows.

    Test the minimum bootable tRFC. If it is stuck around 300ns it is more likely Micron / Spectek. If it does more like 250ns then it is probably actually Hynix.

    There has been more and more Micron / Spectek in this bin recently. In the past it was usually CJR but it isn’t necessarily these days.
