“How could you betray me, V?”

Yeah. The very premise u used to get me involved in all of this was a lie. So “they’re lying” isn’t exactly a good place to argue from.

  2. Marmeladun

I mean even V states to Judy “It’s too good to be true”

  3. HereForFreeGames

Take this down. So Mi fans boys are not going to like this.

  4. microwavefridge2000

Everyone in PL are either lying or pushing a half-truth, so at some point it all lost all meaning.

It does annoy me how people frame the situation, like yeah Songbird is similar to V in that she’s trying to survive but she does lie to you in the first place. V went there for a cure it’s not hypocritical to be upset that they were misled about that

Seriously, I didn’t even blink when given the option to turn her over to Reed.

She promised us a cure, then pulled the rug out from under us at the literal last moment. She can go fuck herself all the way back to Washington.

  7. I sided with Reed in my main play through but seeing the end results if what happens to her if you save her and what happens to you if you ask nusa for help.

Plus some if the deep dive I’ve read on what happened in that 2 year gap makes me think what Nusa and Reed and Myers are not telling you has WAAAAY worse ramifications than song birds lies.

At the same time Myers is literally risking ww4 over her black wall escapades. So if siding with so mi hurts Myers than I’m all for it.

    She’s an actual psychopath.

Quite easily, I did it in my first PL playthrough cause the only thing that iteration of V cared about was being cured. She was cold and ruthless, so I decided she had no troubles betrying So Mi when she admitted that there was a cure for one of them.

  9. couple_nxtdr

Yup soon as she admitted she was lying to me I sold her out to reed

  10. Agreed. Towards the end when things starting getting bad I thought it was textbook femme fatale minus the seduction. By that point, I saw nothing but red flags.

No one else is like us.
Only we can understand each other because we’re the same.
    Only we can help other.
Yes, I’ve lied to everyone all along, but I’m not lying to you.

    NOPE. No thanks.

I’m my first and second playthrough I chose to betray her, the third I betrayed Reed and was like: “…. Yeah should’ve betrayed her again”

  12. Money-Signature2825

I turned that bitch in when she crossed me. wish i could have killed her but they didn’t give me that option

  13. Spidey-sipping-henny

Still the best ending. You saving her, still forgiving her and the convo between Johnny and V post rocket launch. Peak Cinema

  14. EsTeBaNCanIUseMyName

Everyone is lying to you, i still think the best ending is saying no to myers

  15. JohnB351234

I choose reed because all of this was song birds lies falling apart and I’d rather sink that ship than be on it

  16. windowmaker525

I went in with the intention of helping Song, but when she revealed that there was only one dose I flipped on her soooo fast.

  17. TheHollowJoke

I don’t know how it goes if you choose the other path but ending Songbird’s suffering and then telling Myers to go fuck herself, that it’s all her fault and to never contact us again certainly feels good.

  18. Estoulia

I sold her for a medal and Im feeling good 👍

  19. psych_head

my first time playing PL i felt bad for so mi so i decided to help her despite being lied to twice. then she wanted to lmk i was basically fucked and not getting the cure. instantly handed her ass to reed right there and then

  20. randomnarwal

When does Reed lie to you though? He admits what happened between him and Song as soon as you ask. Straight forward answer no bs. Song is never able to give a straight answer until the end.

  21. SecantDecant

    Its fine.

You can lie to her too when you tell her everything’s gonna be a-ok.

  22. ElCringe_23

From more real life point of view, only reasonable way to help V is to side with NUSA (or, in theory, with Arasaka). When you are constantly coughing blood and baerly able to walk cause you got a chip that is messing up your neural system you need also surgical help. And that is something Alt can’t help you with by giving you (major oversimplification ahead!) just „software update” in Mikoshi. SO having that in mind I just can’t accept Songbird’s fanboys argument’s „V has options, So mi hasn’t so she needs out help”. Nah, that’s false argument, used cause it sounds better that „we need to save So mi cause she’s hot, and playerbase is horny”

If there was an option to wreck Songbird and Reed, then party my balls off with Alex, that’d have been my choice.
