So I just built a new system in the o11 vision using 7800x3d. For those who may not be aware, the case does not have a top panel for mounting fans, therefore you are limited to 3 fans on the side, 3 at bottom, and 2 at the back (if you shift motherboard down)
Afaik the best config is 3 intake bottom, 3 intake side, and 2 exhaust
My case fans are the lian li slinfinitiy and my previous cpu cooler was a peerless assassin 120 se.
With that air cooler, overnight tm5, my cpu avg was 69.1C
Now that I got the galahad ii trinitiy, I was expecting better temps than air cooling, but overnight tm5 also had cpu avg of 70.2 (so slightly worse than air cooler)
I am not sure if this is expected due to case limitations since i have the radiator installed on the side and the fans on the radiator are set as intake, or maybe I did not install it correct/need to reapply thermal paste without using lian li’s thermal paste control film.
Also here is how the tubes are currently set up, let me know if you see something wrong: [https://i.imgur.com/r7y6jcw.png](https://i.imgur.com/r7y6jcw.png)

revision on your thermalpaste application.
Generally the pearless assassin is one of the best budget air coolers. It is known to keep up very well with 360mm AiOs so this seems alright actually. What you want to do to find an actual difference is:
Put Fan speed and Pump speed to max from the start and start tm5. Now check the temp. Then do the same with the fan speed of teh pearless assassin.
Generally it sounds like the system runs as expected tho. Make sure your fans actually pull the air well. Dont use fans optimised for static pressure as intakes rather than exhausts.
