I agree.I always wanted to look chromed out.I wished that the gorilla arms,skeleton/health and leg implants actually made you bigger.
Maybe they didn’t do it because it’s first person so you wouldn’t be able to see much.
notKomithEr
the option would be nice, maybe with some small stat differences, going all out vs a more subtle look
ow_classic
just wanted a silverhand
Sculpdozer
Yes, but it kinda requires a game to have a third person camera. Otherwise, it is somewhat of a waste of development time which could be spend on way more important stuff that actualy can be visible to the player outside of very rare occasions.
toggleable, maybe i wanna look ganic, besides theres mods
Balrok99
You cant even see clothes on your so …. what would be the point?
msieur-pierre
We should have cosmetic implants like Johnnys hand. This is what Cyberpunk is all about. I really love Sheytan arms pattern at arasaka tower gig from the past and i wish we could have these options at ripper and equip it like clothing.
William_Brobrine
Would be awesome but I would chip some synth skin because I’d still like my organic look
acidporkbuns
For the sequel I hope we can borg out our character visually without resorting to mods. I’m running a gorilla arms build currently and I wish my V would have these 2 massive arms attached to his torso.
Thanag0r
Sadly devs went with logic that no 3rd person and limited reflections = we don’t need to care about appearance (that’s why there was no transmog at the start)
lazylagom
Yes. And I wish there was consequences. They just explain it with the chip. I wish we had to take pills or got random cyberpsycho moments.
ArbiterOfOpportunity
Cyberware should tie into interactions. Imagine people being more apprehensive of you based on your Chrome level, or underestimating you for seemingly having little.
Limonade6
All these things are perfect for cyberpunk 2
TheAardvarrks
I just want the sandy to be a spinal implant and not a chip for the brain lol
Victorius-aut-mortis
I really wish it did
At one point the only choom that outchromes you is Smasher himself
I wish V reflected that
International-Job553
With the power of mods you can

Just imagine cleaning all these gaps. Or even worse – getting caught on something by protruding parts of implants. I’d guess that in the world of CP, it would be covered with seamless skin, like irl.
CoverHelpful1247
You would be only able to see them in photo mode so really what is the point.
Scotsman86
I see through V’s eyes and don’t take photo mode pictures so for me personally it would be pointless Dev time. I can see the appeal though.
Luminifarious
A lot of the cyberware is internal and, as I discovered, you do get scars from it. Look at your V’s back at the start, then install a Sandevistan. Look again. There’s a massive V shaped scar with a line down to the base of V’s spine as a result. They legitimately added this detail in, but I never thought about what more they added for other cyberware.
Edit: I wonder if this is a nod to just how good a ripperdoc Viktor really is, even though you can go to others? I feel canonically V only goes to Viktor and uses other ripperdocs to augment what Vik’s already done to them.
BlaseLp
I hope that the sequel will have this feature
Dangerous-Spend3924
It’s my biggest hope for Orion. I wanted to be chromed up like the characters in game. I want more visible cyberware than just on my face, hands and arms.
beyond_cyber
it’s probsbly too much for them to incorporate a system like this where you can design everything, if they could give us little options like how we can changes what our eyes look like (wether we want normal eyes or robotic ones with skulls in em) or the optional cyberware in our face, would be cool if we could have it on arms and stuff too but I get why they won’t probably do it, the sex scenes would look awkward if you have the physical look and build of adam smasher
SuperArppis
I wish. I mean I wish they would let us choose what it looks like on us.
No-Start4754
Being chromed out is way different than being borged out . U can have shit ton of chrome under organic skin . Only borging out involves the arm cyberware .
