The obsession with Steam on here often gets on my nerves. You don’t actually own your games, if Steam ever decides to shut down their services, you won’t have access to your gaming library that you probably spent thousands for.

Honestly it’s easier just to pay for stuff these days and steam is generally good to us. Gog is cool for drm free stuff and I have a few titles there but my steam Library is at the point where I have so many titles there that it’s a pain to use other launchers and I’ve been known to pay again to get a title on steam if I like it once it goes on sale
