After my long serving PC died, had an overhaul of my gaming area. Wanted something that looked cleaner in terms of wires. I’ve never had a decent monitor before and the difference is truly amazing!

I’ve also removed my TV from the room and hooked up my Xbox to the monitor with a display port adapter.

Wireless headset helps also but I need a stand or hook etc for it, any recommendations?

I also got some backlight for the monitor but I’m wondering about sending them back as I’m not sure I’ll need them. Advice welcomed!

I tried laptops so many times as my main battlestation but I just hate them from the bottom of my heard. My last one was a Asus ROG Strix with a RTX 2060.

It overheates A LOT. I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 with 95-98 celsius. They are always creating bottlenecks and all the time the CPU is just not good enough.

I’ve always loved all of my PCs though. I treasured them like my babies, but definitely not my laptops. I had to repaste the cpu and gpu with the laptops every 6 months as well and it is recommended by many people. My friend repasted his in every 3 months.

That’s how bad laptops are in my opinion. I would never ever have one again in my life.

I am confused between a curved monitor and a simple one.. Getting both for a similar price. Any advice?
