They still have the old prices. $99 for this…. $750 for 2 TB lmao. Literally 2 years ago I paid $120 for 2 TB of the then-latest model but NVMe, so much faster too. Amazing how prices dropped on SSD.
Anyway, as it says there that thing is guaranteed only up to 75TBW. This is a 2015 model. It’s definitely on its last legs unless you found it in a box unused recently. The latest 2 TB models get around 600 TBW. Installing a ton of games over the year is still showing it will last me about 15 years. I can’t imagine living on 75 TBW

lol got a new ssd and can’t get my panel closed with it so I just let it hang in the open, didn’t even bother to tape it down. My computer is a real franksteins monster.

I don’t think I’ve PROPERLY secured a SATA SSD in like 6 years. I always just put it down with double sided tape.

Tape gets gooey over time. Use ziptie.

Mine just gently rests in the old HDD slot. Hidden but in no way secured!

Mine are welded. I don’t trust those weak screws to hold them steady. If I need to replace one I simply angle grind the old one off and weld the new one.

They’re so lightweight they’re basically held by the cables.

Your motherboard also has a space for it on the back.
If you’re feeling real fancy, duct tape.
You all bolt or glue that thing to the case or motherboard?
I got like 10TB (several drives) of storage loose in my rig.
I mean… All my sata drives are just tucked away like this.

3.5 to 2.5 adapters, people!
Looks like mine xD
850 EVO 200 GB? That thing is definitely on its last legs. Replace it ASAP. You can get 2 TB now for barely more than what that cost at launch. https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-850-evo-2-5-sata-iii-250gb-mz-75e250b-am/
