I took some screenshots of CryZENx’s UE5 Zelda Ocarina of Time fan project. It’s beautiful!!

I always feel bad for people starting really cool Nintendo fan projects. You know Nintendo is gonna hit with the lawyers every time.

If they’re not making any money off of it and its clearly a fan project then its not necessarily safe but I don’t think it threatens any copyrights Nintendo would be concerned about.

I hope they left the camera controller as bad as the original haha

Some of them look like an AI image of what ocarina was

I think this is an inevitable remake and probably this next Switch 2 generation is the perfect time for it.

  6. So much wasted potential. Could easily dodge a cease and desist by making the character blue and giving it a beard. Oh well

Bongo Bongo and Dead Hand are already scary enough. With these graphics I bet they are absolutely terrifying.

I don’t like this metallic Unreal Engine 5 look but I like the other that’s more cartoony the studio ghibli one

I currently have this downloading and plan on testing it out with Praydogs Unreal Injector that just came out today.

For those that dont know, the Unreal Injector basically lets you play pretty much any game that uses Unreal Engine 4 or 5 in VR.

Most people give up on big projects like this, or they go unfinished. But this one man team is truly dedicated. It’s cool to see his progress over the years, I really hope he finishes it

This looks how I remember the original looking when I was little.

Treasure them. It’s the only memory we will have left

  13. I’d love to play this game again with modern graphics. This is how my younger mind remembered it anyway

Nitpicky, perhaps. But I don’t like how the legs on the Skulltula just kinda clips through the “skull” part. If the skull is supposed to be a shell of sorts, it would look better if there were visible holes or cracks where the legs poke through. And if the skull is part of the abdomen and more organic, it would look better if the attach points had the same joints as the rest of the leg.

**He’s using unreal engine in any way he can**

Will this ever be completed ? This game is more zelda then tears ever was

  17. Its fun knowing that in the end, when they are like 90% done with the game and the rest is just some cleanup, nintendo will step in just to screw everyone over

  18. And here I was, with my mind blown by Ship of Harkinian. This is beautiful!

    This just looks so cool.
I sincerely hope nintendo doesn’t take legal action, in that sense they are the worst company ever.
They don’t respect their fans’s wishes to do great stuff…
Like I can’t even imagine why they are doing this, if they wanted to they could even port it to the switch and earn money from that if that is the only thing they want while just making their fans happy…

In my opinion it could seems cool because the graphic is batter than that of the oringial Ocarina of Time game but I also think that the fan made game lost the Nintendo art style and for that reason I don’t like the fan made game

Always feels odd to see such effort in a project like this. Such talent wasted in existing, copyrighted IP. They could have made something of their own but chose to waste their talent.
