I can’t seem to add text so I’ll comment, this was the last exchange I had with her after I got into Dogtown, I’m back in NC doing some other side stuff and got this weird message from her (this is a couple days after my last message)

This text exchange is bugged unfortunately, there’s a moment as Judy is texting one of her responses, your’s will appear (when it shouldn’t) for a split second and vanishes once she sends her next message. Once that happens it’ll get locked into this outcome no matter what you choose as a response. If you have a save before this whole exchange happens, I would suggest playing around with it to get a better outcome.

I think this is a bug. I got this same text but Judy never said anything after I responded “It works. Scientifically proven”.
So either yours bugged and was treated like you didn’t respond to her texts or mine bugged and I didn’t get schizophrenic Judy.

How does everyone fuck up the texts, do y’all speak to other people irl? Idk what the other option was here but I’ve notanaged to piss anyone off over text with 200+ hours and keep seeing these posts.
Advice is, choose the empathetic / flirty/ funny option always. I’ve always read the choices as clear fuck yous or actually stuff people should say in a convo so idk

It’s a bugged text. The trigger for it is “I’m chasing a promising lead for the biochip – it’s worth a bit of risk”. It causes you to not receive more texts from her that V can respond to. I’ve played around with it a ton because I didn’t understand the tone of it either. You are only supposed to get it if you ghost her mid-conversation or ignore her completely 24 hours after she texts you while you’re in Dogtown.
During my first playthrough, I chose these [texts](https://imgur.com/a/qYDdwAN) and was a little ??? over the last one Judy sends. As someone else mentioned, your response shows up while Judy’s typing and then disappears, leaving you locked into this. If you call her afterwards, you get the whole “Why didn’t you text me back?” dialogue.
Reloaded a save and tried another text option. Sure enough, there are [more texts](https://imgur.com/a/O9m9NYL) to the end of this conversation. If you call her after this conversation, you do not get the “Why didn’t you text me back?” dialogue.
