   Love the minimalism, although I find the light placement a bit weird. Isn’t that light kind of messing up the display when the screen is showing a darker image?

   Very nice and clean, the wooden desk looks great and for some reason in my brains matches the aesthetic you are pushing for here. I think as you progress with the build in the future add an LED backlight to the monitor, it will frame it nicely and gain some ambient light without creating a distraction for your eyes and possibly some form of white conduit to hide the monitor cables. Both fairly cheap and simple to do.
