Hi guys. I just bought a new case so that my new GPU can fit in. However, new case’s cables cannot be plugged into anywhere of my motherboard 🙁
What should I do now?
As my budget is tight. If buying a new motherboard is the worst case, which is the cheapest motherboard I should go with?
Or is there any adapter to connect the cables?

Thank you so much for your help.

Hello ShineFree5897, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

  2. Hard to tell but maybe the top right where it says power switch, maybe you can plug in the + & – power switch cables in there. Also, that thermal paste needs to be replaced before you slap the cooler back on.

If that doesn’t work I’d recommend getting a used 9th gen compatible motherboard. Looking up your motherboard it looks to have come out of a Inspiron 3670, and the manual does not show a diagram of the motherboard

Those motherboards usually have proprietary connectors for the case they come in, especially if it is a Dell. You most likely need a new motherboard

  4. If you really don’t want a new motherboard,
Get your old case, get the power button wires and then you’d have to splice them to the power button wires for the case.

The big blue connector (USB 3) is not gonna connect to this motherboard, neither are any of the other connectors.

See if you can salvage anything from the Dell case this motherboard came from. Also, if your GPU needs power, the dell power supply may not have the GPU power connectors (6,8 or 12 pin)

It’s kinda your fault ngl for not doing research. What cpu do you have I will help you find a cheap motherboard that will work
